Why We Built This Site
Alabama gives the public broad access to many public records, but DeKalb County files are divided by record type. The Circuit Clerk handles Circuit Court and District Court records, including civil, criminal, traffic, domestic relations, and docket records. The Probate Judge handles probate filings, marriage certificate recording, land records, liens, UCC filings, and plats. The Sheriff manages jail custody information, while ADPH, ADOC, ALEA, and federal courts keep their own statewide or federal records.

- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or address listed on this site is current right now
Only the issuing court or government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
